Talking Dutch - UPDATE
Still, there isn't as much progress in Mylene's Dutch talking skills as in her Chinese talking skills by far.
But, one development is worth mentioning.
Earlier I noted that Mylene seems to understand the concept of different languages.
Recently, she makes that very clear by telling us that papa calls something like this, and mama calls it like that.
Example: I showed Mylene a bird and said "Kijk Mylene, een vogel". Then Mylene answered "Papa shuo 'vogel', mama shuo 'xiao niao'"
She does that quite often now.
I have to say, I do need some help in getting Mylene's Dutch up to the next level, though.
So, opa and oma, be prepared. We are expecting a lot from you when you are here in April :-)
