Grabbing
It seems that Mylène has made quite a big step in her development during the week of holiday in Austria. The tones she produces are quite varied now (she mixes all sounds she learnt to make), which is really funny to listen to. She doesn't know how to control the volume very well, though. So, even though she cries much less than in the beginning, she has not really become quieter.
Another thing she does really well now, is grabbing. Any object she sees in front of her, she stretches her arms to, and tries to grab it. Of course, immediately after she has the object in her hands, it goes into her mouth first thing. (Disinfecting the passifiers in boiling water has little use now, I guess). While doing that she observes the object very well, and shakes it strongly. This can keep her busy for a while. Has the time arrived that we can leave her playing by herself for a few minutes now?
